Multiple small waterfalls and deeper pools at their base are cool and relaxing. I HIGHLY recommend putting in your water shoes or flip flops and walking down the creek. Sitting on the front porch in a hammock chair, sipping a beverage and listening to the creek and the birds is relaxing as well. While there are many attractions nearby, we found the trails onsite to be just perfect.
Highly recommend bringing your cast iron cookware for that experience. We cooked every meal over an open fire next to the creek. All the pots and pans and utensils needed are there too.
